CLEVELAND, Ohio - WWE has some explaining to do.
Over the weekend, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar showed up at UFC 226 to challenge newly crowned UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier to a fight.
Lesnar, a former UFC champion, has yet to enter the USADA drug testing pool, which is required for him to fight. Still, his brief showdown with Cormier featured more action than Lesnar has seen in WWE since April.
The championship situation on WWE Raw has become a joke. Lesnar's absence has placed everything on hold. And now that he's promoting a fight in the UFC, fans are wondering when they might see the Beast Incarnate in a WWE ring again.
That will likely happen at SummerSlam next month. WWE will address the situation during tonight's episode of Raw, which probably means setting up a No.1 contender match at this weekend's Extreme Rules pay-per-view. So...Roman Reigns again?
