JAMES ELLSWORTH has been released by the WWE after three-years with the company, it has been announced.
The 32-year-old will be best known for teaming up with Carmella on SmackDown Live in the past year.
WWE
He joined the company back in 2014 after a number of years on the independent circuit.
Ellsworth went onto to have storylines against AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose before allying himself with Carmella.
The WWE said in a statement: "WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar James Ellsworth.
"WWE wishes Ellsworth the best in all of his future endeavors."
